Check with the scholarships/financial aid department of the school you are looking at to determine what is available through them.
The FAFSA (Free Application For Federal Student Aid) can be filed anytime after October 1st using your previous year's tax information. Go to fafsa.gov.
You can check out available Nebraska scholarships under ScholarshipQuest at Educationquest.org.
Also while there you can search national websites such as:
Chadron, Wayne, and Peru State have scholarships listed under www.nscs.edu (go to students and scroll down. Also check out the NSCS Advantage in same spot).
